Performing Hajj rituals is prohibited on 4 types of Visas - Hajj Ministry


The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia highlighted that those wishing to perform Hajj pilgrimage from outside the Kingdom must come to Saudi Arabia on Hajj visa only. Read : Avoid touching other people's bag at airport - Ministry of Hajj and Umrah



The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah instructed pilgrims from inside the Kingdom to obtain and print a Hajj permit, while clarifying the types of visas whose holders cannot perform the rituals of Hajj, in conjunction with the approaching start of the Hajj season of this year. The Ministry added that, A Hajj visa must be issued before arriving in the Kingdom and holders of the following visas are not allowed to perform Hajj.

1. Visit Visa

2. Tourism Visa

3. Work Visa

4. Stop-Over or transit visa and

5. Other visas.
