Saudi Arabia to welcome International Hajj pilgrims via 6 Airports


Six airports in Saudi Arabia are getting ready to receive international Hajj pilgrims, which are,

- Saudi Airlines (Saudia), the National flag carrier, will carry pilgrims from more than 100 regular and 14 seasonal destinations throughout the world.

- The first flights carrying Hajj pilgrims are scheduled to arrive at Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport in Medina on May 21, 2023.

- The Saudia airline employs 8,000 cabin crew members who are proficient in 42 different languages and provides educational e-books in 14 different languages on performing the Hajj and Umrah.

- The new in-flight Islamic programs now features 134 hours of religious programs, 590 hours of Quranic recitations, and additional Islamic programs in several languages.

- Saudia Group will distribute messages in their languages through Hajj missions, organizations in Mecca and Medina, and Hajj houses to increase awareness among pilgrims.

- These communications will include trip information, baggage restrictions, and criteria to ensure a comfortable pilgrimage.
