All employees of Security companies Guards must be Saudi citizens - Public Prosecution
The Public Prosecution in Saudi Arabia restated its warning on appointment procedures in private civil security guard companies and institutions, such as the residence of Hajj pilgrims, as they are subject to strict security standards, and highlighted that the prosecution is held accountable in this regard. The Saudi Public Prosecution through its official Twitter account clarified that all of its staff and security personnel must be Saudi citizens only.

- The penalties include a warning, a fine of up to 50,000 riyals, a month-long temporary closure of the offending headquarters, and license revocation are all possible penalties.
- Earlier this month, the Public Prosecution office and the Ministry of Commerce completed its electronic integration procedures and all mutual procedures between them, in line with the Saudi Vision 2030 to combat economic crimes in Saudi Arabia.
- This automation of the Public Prosecution and the Ministry of Commerce aims to achieve economic security, raise the commercial and economic levels of the Kingdom and combat crimes that threaten economic security, like money laundering, concealment, commercial fraud and crimes related to corporate and commercial data systems and others.
