Saudi Arabia announces Eid Al-Adha holidays for Private and Non-Profit sectors


The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia announced the date of Eid Al-Adha holidays for the private and non-profit sectors. Recommend : Importance of the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah



The Ministry of Human Resources through its official Twitter handle tweeted that, Eid Al-Adha holidays for the private and non-profit sectors will be for a period of 4 days. 

- The Eid Holidays will start from the day of standing on Arafah, which is from Tuesday, 27th June 2023 (9th Dhul Hijjah 1444 AH) and continues for 4 days. Trending : The blessed day of Arafah

- Ministry of HR further said that the cases of interference stipulated in Article 24 of the executive regulations of the work system are taken into account and the employer must abide the guidelines set forth in the Article governing Saudi Labor Law.

- Article 24 of the Saudi Labor Law's executive regulations states that, when the days of weekends and holidays coincide, the weekly rest must be extend up by the equivalent of the days before or after those holidays. Most Viewed : A simple guide of Hajj pilgrimage
