Special Forces captured Lion roaming freely in the streets of Riyadh
In a Riyadh city neighborhood, the Special Forces for Environmental Security were successful in capturing a lion that was roaming openly in the streets of Riyadh. Join Saudi Expatriates broadcast channel on Instagram

According to the local media, the Special Forces acted quickly, the lion had been restrained, to neutralize the lion's threat and deliver it to the appropriate wildlife authority.
- It is illegal under the terms of the Environment Law to trade in endangered wild animals, including keeping them in one's custody. Offenders face a maximum punishment of 10 years in prison or a fine of SR30 million, or a combination of the two, according to the Special Forces.
