Mobile phone Caller's name and Number to be displayed from 1st October - CST

The device must be able to receive and display the caller's name and number for all 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G technologies. The caller's name and number must also be displayed in the call log. - In order to ensure that the devices are compatible with the networks of service providers in the Kingdom, the manufacturers are also required to conduct tests, issue an acknowledgment to support the caller's name display feature, and obtain the approval of all mobile network operators in the Kingdom. - According to the CST, mobile network providers in the Kingdom are expected to carry out the necessary evaluations, grant approval in line with the technical standard (GEN002), and demonstrate compliance to any additional requirements listed in the relevant technical specifications.
