Fine for failing to give priority to Pedestrians while crossing their designated lanes
The General Directorate of Traffic (Moroor) in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia restated the preference for pedestrians in some designated lanes. Join Saudi Expatriates open discussion group
The Saudi Moroor through its official Twitter handle said that, failing to give preference to pedestrians while crossing the lanes designated for them is a traffic violation.
- The authority added that, violating this includes a fine of 100 to 150 Saudi Riyals, highlighting that, this is the priority given to pedestrians to ensure their safety. Trending : Monitoring of 7 traffic violations automatically
- This comes in the context of the awareness measures taken by the department for vehicle drivers and pedestrians to ensure the application of items contained in the traffic law.
