Umrah Health Insurance Policy covers all these cases - Ministry of Hajj and Umrah
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah (MOHU) in Saudi Arabia listed the insurance benefits that Umrah insurance policy offers for those who visit the Kingdom on Umrah visa. Join Saudi Expatriates channel on Instagram
The ministry further explained through its official Twitter handle that this Unified insurance document is applicable to visitors coming from outside the Kingdom who are performing Umrah and it is included in the visa procedures before arriving.
Umrah Health Insurance coverage for Emergency cases :
According to the Ministry, the Umrah insurance policy provides health coverage for emergency cases, which includes “treatment, hospital admit, hospitalization, emergency pregnancy and childbirth, accidental deaths, traffic accident injuries, emergency kidney dialysis cases, dental emergencies and internal and external medical evacuation.” Related : Check Umrah insurance validity using Passport number
General Coverage :
- The Umrah insurance policy also includes cases of covid-19 emergency cases, permanent and accidental total disability, accidental deaths, death due to natural disasters, the return of the deceased body to his country and for blood money (Diyah) issued by a court ruling.
Travel related Coverage :
- This policy also includes travel-related insurance coverage, including flight delay compensation and flight cancellation compensation, provided that all of these coverages are for the insured person within the Umrah insurance policy, as per the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah. Umrah Insurance Cost :
The cost of the Umrah insurance policy is 87.4 Saudi Riyals on each Umrah visa, which is included at the time of stamping your visa. The policy coverage period is for 90 days from the date of entering into Saudi Arabia. The coverage is only in Saudi Arabia and it has a benefit limit of 100,000 riyals.
