Fine for Vehicle drivers for bypassing School buses when they Stop - Saudi Moroor


The General Directorate of Traffic (Moroor) in Saudi Arabia restated the fine imposed on those who overtakes school buses in the Kingdom. Follow Saudi Expatriates on Google News



The General Traffic Department through its official X (Twitter) handle said that, "Bypassing the buses when they stop for loading or unloading students, is a traffic violation and the fine for it ranges between 3,000 riyals to 6,000 riyals".

- The Saudi Moroor called the vehicle drivers to not to overtake school buses on the roads, for the safety of them and the students. This is to preserve and ensure the safety of students. Trending : Procedure to perform Umrah on a family visit visa of Saudi Arabia

- The authority also said that, parking the vehicle on the sidewalks and paths designated for pedestrians delays the movement of the public and students, it endangers their lives. The Saudi Moroor called for obligation to stand or park their vehicles in designated places around schools, keeping the students safe.

- Earlier this, the Moroor called vehicle drivers to abide by the speed limit near the educational buildings and give priority to students while crossing the road.
