13 rules related to Saudi National Flag use violations
The national flag of Saudi Arabia may not be used as a trademark or for commercial advertising. On the occasion of the 93rd National Day, which occurs on September 23, the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Interior published instructions for the usage of the Saudi national flag. The guidelines for various types of flag-use offenses are as follows:
1. No object may be tied or carried using the flag as a tool.
2. It is against the law to fly a flag that is faded or damaged. The party that uses the national flag is required to destroy it when it gets old or when it is in poor condition and unusable.
3. The Kingdom's flag may not be used for trademark purposes, for commercial advertising, or for any other use not expressly permitted by law.

5. It is not allowed to place or print the flag on the bodies of animals.
6. The Saudi flag should not be placed in a poor location, which cause it to become dirty or damaged.
7. The Kingdom flag must not be used in anyway that might disrespect it or expose it to damage, including printing it on materials that are planned to throw after use.
8. The flag must not be used in any phrases, logos or drawings.

10. No matter the situation, the Saudi flag must never be raised upside down.
11. No logos should be shown on Saudi National flag, except for the flag of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, which features the state emblem, two crossed swords beneath a palm tree, in the lower corner next to the flagpole.
12. The national flag of the Saudi Arabia or the Royal flag of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques must never be flown at half-mast.

Saudi Royal Flag :
The Saudi Royal flag has state emblem, which is two crossed swords beneath a palm tree and is embroidered with golden silk threads in the bottom corner of the flagpole side, shall be on the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques special flag, which shall have the same qualities as the national flag.
