Automation of monitoring violating Vehicles without valid Vehicle Insurance - Saudi Moroor
The General Directorate of Traffic (Moroor) in Saudi Arabia announced the automated monitoring of the violation of "lack of valid vehicle insurance" electronically, starting from Sunday, 1st October 2023. Trending video : 3-Years ban rules on failure to return to Saudi Arabia on Exit re-Entry visa
According to the Saudi Moroor, if a car is driving on the road without valid vehicle insurance, the vehicle will be automatically monitored for violations.
- The Traffic administration added that automatic monitoring of the violations will be for all vehicles on the roads directly in the absence of valid vehicle insurance, as per the report of Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
- The General Traffic Department calls on vehicle drivers, both Saudi citizens and resident expatriates, to adhere to traffic regulations and instructions, and to secure their vehicles, to preserve their rights during traffic accidents. - Earlier this, Saudi Moroor highlighted the importance of vehicle insurance, considering it as one of the most important requirements for vehicle registration or renewing vehicle license.
- Previously, the General Traffic Department clarified the position of unused vehicle, regarding its technical inspection, insurance and violations of delay in inspection procedures.
- The Saudi Moroor reported a violation regarding the technical inspection and insurance of idle vehicles in a tweet on Twitter.
