Saudi Arabia and Philippines signed a deal to employ more Filipinos in the Kingdom
Officials from the Saudi Arabian and Philippine private sectors have signed a memorandum of understanding that aims to use partnerships with specialized international companies to bring "professional" workers from the Philippines to the kingdom in order to fill labor market gaps. At a Saudi-Philippine roundtable conference in Riyadh, the agreement between the human resources sectors of the two nations was finalized.
- The meeting was attended by Saudi Minister of Investment Khalid Al Faleh and Philippine President Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr, Government and corporate sector representatives from both nations, as well as key players in the human resources industry.
