Saudi Arabia contributes $2 million to UNRWA in aid to the Palestinian people
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) has received a check of $2 million from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in assistance of the Palestinian people. Trending Video : Limit of domestic workers allowed for Saudis and Expats without levy
Nayef Bin Bandar Al-Sudairi, Saudi Arabia's ambassador to Jordan, gave UNRWA Commissioner-General Philippe Lazzarini a cheque of 2 million dollars for the organization's customary yearly contribution.
- This is necessary so that UNRWA may continue to meet the needs of the Palestinian people by providing food, medication, and other essentials.
- Lazzarini expressed his gratitude to Saudi Arabia for aiding UNRWA. He stated, "Saudi Arabia has always stood in solidarity with the Palestinian people and supports the agency to realize its humanitarian objectives.
