Fine and Jail term for an Expat who fabricated an Engineering Certificate
The Public Prosecution for Crimes against Public Trust finished its investigation by charging an expat with forgery crimes as he violated the law. Most Viewed : Fine for Employers who allow their workers to work for self or for others
It was found out during the investigation that, the accused expatriate forged a regular certificate of a diploma in mechanical technology from a military government school in his own country.
- He was done this is in order to apply to the competent authority to become a member and be able to perform the profession in the Kingdom.
- After the accused was arrested and taken to the right court, a verdict was made against him, finding him guilty of what was said about him and giving him a year in jail and a fine. - The Public Prosecution highlighted the importance of official documents and the prohibition of the methods that could lead to illegal crimes. The authority also said that criminals need to be held responsible for such actions.
