Flynas announces 6 direct flights from Jeddah, Madina to Dhaka


Flynas, the national carrier and leading low-cost airline in the Middle East and the globe, has announced that as of November 13, it will operate 6 direct weekly flights between Dhaka, Bangladesh, and Jeddah and Medina, with three flights departing from each of the two Saudi cities. Air connectivity with South Asia will be improved with the introduction of the two new routes, in line with Flynas growth and expansion strategy, which is promoted under the slogan "We Connect the World to the Kingdom."

- This is consistent with the goals of the National Civil Aviation Strategy, which aims to allow national air carriers to assist in connecting the Kingdom with 250 international destinations, attracting 100 million tourists annually by the year 2030, and facilitating access to the Two Holy Mosques through the Pilgrims Program.

- Flynas operates over 1,500 weekly flights connecting over 70 domestic and international destinations. Since its launch in the year 2007, the airline has carried over 60 million passengers. Flynas launches direct flight to Ankara, Turkey from Jeddah :

Earlier Today, Flynas marked the inaugural day of service between Jeddah and Ankara, thereby improving air connectivity with the Turkish capital. This development aligns with the goals of the Pilgrims program, which aims at providing easier access to the Two Holy Mosques, and the National Civil Aviation Strategy, which seeks to empower domestic air carriers.

- At the inauguration ceremony held at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Flynas and Jeddah Airports representatives were in attendance. Upon the arrival of the inaugural flight at Ankara's Esenboga International Airport, a reception was extended, which featured a "water salute" to the aircraft.
