Saudi Crown Prince calls for International efforts to stop Israel's brutal crimes in Gaza


Saudi Crown Prince during extraordinary virtual summit of the BRICS plus group of nations :

At the extra-ordinary virtual meeting of BRICS plus group of countries on Tuesday, the Saudi Crown Prince asked all of them to stop sending weapons to Israel. The BRICS-plus Extraordinary Joint Meeting on the Middle East situation was called by Cyril Ramaphosa, the president of South Africa and the present chair of the BRICS group.

- Prince Mohammed bin Salman made it clear that the Kingdom's rejection of forcing Palestinians to leave the Gaza Strip. He made it clear that Saudi Arabia wants a real and complete peace process to begin so that a Palestinian state can be built along the borders of the year 1967.

- No changes will be made to the Kingdom's stance. The only way to make Palestine safe and stable is to follow through on international decisions about the two-state solution. - The Crown Prince asked for immediate entry of aid into the Gaza Strip. He said that brutal crimes are happening in Gaza against civilians, innocent people, hospitals, and places of prayer, and that everyone needs to work together to stop this humanitarian catastrophe. The Crown Prince asked everyone to work together to stop the humanitarian situation in Gaza from getting worse and highlighted how important it was to set up humanitarian corridors in Gaza.

- Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa are all part of the BRICS group of big emerging economies. The meeting on Tuesday was open to leaders from Saudi Arabia, Argentina, Egypt, Ethiopia, Iran, and the United Arab Emirates. These countries will all join the BRICS group in January 2024. Among the leaders who spoke at the virtual meeting were Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping, and UN Secretary General António Guterres.

Today, the Council of Ministers kept an eye on what was happening in the region and around the world, especially in the Gaza Strip. They reaffirmed the Kingdom's call for an immediate end to the fighting and for international accountability mechanisms to be put into action to hold the occupation forces responsible for the ongoing violations and cruel and inhumane actions they are carrying out against defenseless civilians, hospitals, and relief teams. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud chaired the session held by the Council of Ministers in Riyadh. - Today, the ministerial committee assigned by the Arab-Islamic Summit arrived in Moscow, Russia, where it discussed the situation in the Gaza Strip with the Russian Foreign Minister.

- Yesterday, the ministerial committee in charge of the extraordinary joint Arab-Islamic summit, headed by Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a meeting with senior officials in China, with the participation of members of the ministerial committee.

- This comes in implementation of the assignment decision issued by the extraordinary joint Arab and Islamic summit in Riyadh on (November 11, 2023), Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom, in her capacity as chair of the (32nd) Arab and Islamic Summit, chairs a round of official visits that includes a number of permanent member states of the Security Council of Ministers. Saudi Foreign Minister from Moscow, Russia :

Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan said that Palestinians are still being pushed to leave their homes in Gaza and that what is happening there cannot be explained by self-defense.

- He said, "A serious peace process must begin, a ceasefire must be declared, and aid for the people in need must be sent." We are working to improve our relationships with foreign partners so that there is no more war in Gaza.

- He then said, "The war must end right away, the siege on Gaza must be lifted, and civilians must be protected."

- He also said, "Israel" keeps breaking international law, and the future of Gaza can't be talked about until the attacks on civilians stop. He said that people in the Gaza Strip must be protected.
