Saudi Arabia wins the hosting of 2025 FIBA Asia Cup
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia won the hosting of the 2025 FIBA Asian Cup Championship for men, for the second time in its history, with the participation of 16 Asian teams, with all the games to be played in Jeddah. Trending : 11 worst habits that can lead to belly fat
The Asian Executive Office of the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) announced that the Kingdom was chosen to organize the finals of the second tournament hosted by the Kingdom, as it was previously organized in 1996 in the capital Riyadh, where Korea lifted the trophy after being beaten Japan. While the host team made it to their first-ever semi-finals, finishing in the 4th place.

- The President of the Saudi Basketball Federation, Dr. Ghassan Tashkandi, expressed his happiness at hosting the tournament, which comes as an extension of the international championships organized by the Kingdom in various sports aspects and sectors thanks to the generous support of the wise leadership and the follow-up of Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, Minister of Sports, Chairman of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee.
