Saudization of Insurance Sales jobs starting from 15th April 2024


Starting from April 15th, 2024, Saudi Arabia has decided to localize insurance products sales jobs in the Kingdom. The Insurance Authority said that starting in the middle of April, all jobs that involve selling insurance products are going to be Saudize. No commission for those who are not specialists in sales :

The authority says in its decision that insurance workers who do not make sales cannot receive any commissions related to sales. As soon as the choice to Saudize is made, the Insurance Authority will make sure that it will be executed. They will do this until the target of Saudization percentage is reached.

The authority has oversight and supervision powers over the insurance business, so this falls under those powers. It is thought that the choice to localize the sales sector will have a big effect on both the sector and the rate of Saudization in the Kingdom as a whole.
