Sheikh Mishal Al-Sabah named as new Emir of Kuwait

The Kuwait News Agency said that the government of Kuwait would be holding a three-day national holiday and 40 days of grief to honor the death of Emir Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.

- Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, the late Emir of Kuwait, was laid to rest a short time ago. He was buried at the Bilal bin Rabah Mosque in the Al-Siddiq area. The funeral prayer began over his body.

- A statement from the Saudi Royal Court on Saturday said, "They sent their deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the Al-Sabah family, the people of Kuwait, and all Arab and Islamic nations on the death of Sheikh Nawaf. He died after a life full of accomplishments and contributions."

- King Salman and the Crown Prince said that the people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia share their sadness with the people of the State of Kuwait. Follow Saudi Expatriates on X platform

- They ask Allah (SWT) to help the family and the people of Kuwait deal with this terrible loss with patience and comfort, and they ask that Kuwait and its people continue to be safe, stable, prosperous, and growing.

Saudi King orders Absentee prayer for Kuwait's late Emir Sheik Nawaf in Makkah Grand Mosque and Prophet Mosque in Madina :

- The Custodian of the two holy mosques King Salman, in honor of the late Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, ordered that prayers be offered for him after the Dhuhr prayer on Sunday at both the Makkah Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque.
