Baby strollers are not permitted to bring in Mataf area of Holy Kaaba
The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque says that strollers for children will not be allowed on the ground floor of Mataf (the place where people circumambulate around the Holy Kaaba) area. Join Saudi Expatriates Telegram channel
The authorities said that there are places inside the Grand Mosque in Makkah that are specifically set up for strollers.
- Inside the Grand Mosque, strollers for kids were only allowed on the upper floors of Mataf and in the mas'a (running area between Safa and Marwa), which could only be reached through the King Fahd Expansion Area.
