The rains that occurred during this period are responsible for the increase of Greenery by 360 percent in the Madina region.

- Based on the evaluation of remote sensing data, Madinah's total vegetation cover area reached 2,863.4 square kilometers in August 2023, or 1.9% of the region's entire area.

- With increased rainfall, this region grew throughout time, reaching 13,194.5 square kilometers by December 2023, or 8.7% of the entire area.

- The majority of the governorates in the Madinah region are covered in vegetation, however it is mostly concentrated in the western region's hilly sections, which range in height from 1,000 to 1,300 meters, and the eastern region's semi-flat areas, which are caused by the properties of the soil.
