Saudi Arabia announced Eid Al-Fitr holidays for Private, Public and non-Profit sectors
The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Saudi Arabia announced that all private and non-profit sectors in the Kingdom will have four days off for Eid Al-Fitr. Most Viewed : No permit to repeat Umrah during Ramadan
The Ministry said that the holidays would begin at the end of work on Monday, April 8, which is Ramadan 29. This means that the holidays will last from Tuesday, April 9, to Thursday, April 11, inclusive. Friday, April 12, and Saturday, April 13, are official weekend days in the Kingdom. This means that most people who work in the private and non-profit sectors will have six days off in a row this year, until April 14, Sunday.
Public Sector Eid Al-Fitr Holidays :
- Meanwhile, public sector workers will have 10 days off for Eid al-Fitr this year, starting on Thursday, April 4, 2024, when work ends and concluding on Sunday, April 14, 2024.

- According to the second paragraph of Article 24 of the Saudi Labor Law's executive rules, when weekends and holidays fall on the same days, the weekly rest must be made up by the equivalent of the days before or after those holidays.
- This year's holy month of Ramadan started on March 11. Eid Al-Fitr is the date when it ends. Over 1.8 billion Muslims around the world fast from dawn until dusk during Ramadan, a time for spiritual growth and thought.
