Saudi Arabia executed 5 expats for fatal attack on the Security Guards
The authorities in Saudi Arabia have executed 5 expats, after they convicted of robbing a business and murdering the security guard in the Kingdom. Most Viewed : List of prohibited items in Makkah Grand Mosque
The private sector company was attacked by those 5 expatriates, who were the nationals of Pakistan, according to the Saudi Interior Ministry. They tied up two guards and attacked them, and murdered a guard from Bangladesh.
- Following their referral to a competent court, which ultimately found all of them guilty, the five were handed death sentences.
- After a approval through a royal decree and subsequent confirmation by appeals and supreme courts, the verdict became final. The city of Makkah was the site of their executions on Tuesday.

- Earlier in January, Four Ethiopian expats convicted of the murder of a Sudanese person and the Saudi authorities executed them after the investigation and court ruling.
- The four Ethiopians were found guilty of alternating between fatally hitting and stabbing the victim after tying his wrists and feet, according to the Ministry of Interior statement at the time. The killer's motivation was never revealed.
- Previously, two expats from Bangladesh were put to death in Saudi Arabia in December after a final court verdict found them guilty of the murder of an Indian man over a money dispute. The man had been sprayed with an insecticide.
