World's most connected country is Saudi Arabia, in terms of Road network

During Sunday's launch of the "Safe distinguished roads" campaign in Riyadh, Al-Jasser made the statement that the rates of serious accidents, deaths, and injuries in Saudi Arabia have dropped by almost 50% in the past few years.
- Speaking at the campaign's fourth consecutive year, the minister stated that its goals include improving the effectiveness and security of the extensive road network, as well as offering the highest quality services to road users.
- The Minister made the point that the project has improved road quality, safety, and user experience over the last several years. "The Kingdom's massive investments over the past few decades have resulted in a major revival in the quality of its roads, both in terms of connectedness and the amount of investment that has gone into them," he stated.
- When asked about the safety measures, Al-Jasser said that the number of serious accidents, deaths, and injuries has decreased by more than 50% in recent years. This is due to the great efforts of engineers who have worked to improve quality, upgrade intersections, manage black spots, and invest in safety aspects. - In particular, he brought attention to the fact that the UN has set a goal of halving the accident fatality rate between now and 2030 as a means of improving safety.
- The minister expressed confidence about the possibility of raising the standard of roads, noting that the Kingdom has made substantial investments in this area. Road condition is satisfactory, but we aim to surpass it, this has been our primary objective for the past few years.
