Steps to modify the Translated name in Iqama - Saudi Jawazat
The Jawazat (Genereal Directorate of Passports) in Saudi Arabia said that companies can able to modify the translated name on the Iqama (Muqeem ID [Resident ID]), and can request it to reprint through the Muqeem portal. Recommend : Al-Khobar is now one in the list of smart cities.
This comes from Saudi Jawazat through its official X handle , announcing that amending the translated name in the iqama or residence permit and requesting it to be reprint by the following steps.
1. Login to the Muqeem portal.
2. Search for a resident whose translated name you want to modify.
3. Add Iqamq number.
4. View the resident file.
5. Choose Passport services.

Is it possible to renew Iqama, without employer? Jawazat response :
- Earlier this, Saudi General Directorate of Passports, received an inquiry from one of the user of X platform, in which he asked, "Can a resident renew his Iqama without his employer or sponsor".
