No Umrah permits between these Dates this year, For the ease and comfort of Hajj pilgrims
Starting from May 24 (Dhul Qada 16) until June 26 (Dhul-Hijjah 20), no one will be granted an Umrah permit unless they already have a certified Hajj permit, as per the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah announcement . Trending : Saudi Public Security launched number of new online services in Absher
This order came from the Ministry in an effort to make it easier for the increasing number of Hajj pilgrims from throughout the world to visit the Grand Mosque in Makkah without experiencing any discomfort during their pilgrimage.
- Anyone caught entering Makkah without a Hajj permit between June 2 (Dhul Qada 25) and June 20 (Dhul Hijjah 14), will be fined 10,000 riyals by the Ministry of Interior. The fine applies to Saudi citizens, expatriates, and visitors.
- Anyone caught without a Hajj permit within the following areas will be penalized.
* The Central Haram Area

* The Haramain train station in Rusayfah.
* Security control centers.
* Centers where pilgrims gather and temporary security control centers.
Those who disobey the ministry's directives and regulations in this area will face consequences.
- The ministry made it clear that violators will face a fine of up to 100,000 riyals (or double the original amount) for each additional violation. All of the violators, including expats, will be deported to their home countries and barred from returning to the Kingdom for the durations stipulated by law.
- Someone caught carrying a person in violation of Hajj regulations and instructions faces a maximum punishment of 50,000 riyals and a jail sentence of up to six months, according to the Ministry. Read : KSA launches WPP for Domestic Workers
- In addition to fines and jail time, the punishments include a court order seizing the vehicle that the violators were using for transportation and, if the violator is an expatriate, deportation. In accordance with the time periods set forth by law, the offender will be prohibited from reentering the Kingdom. The number of infractions for which transportation was provided will determine the increase in fines.
- In order for the pilgrims to carry out their rites without any difficulty, the ministry highlighted the significance of following the Hajj rules and guidelines. It asked people to report fraudulent Hajj campaigns and anyone who commit violations by calling 911 in Riyadh, the Eastern Province, and Makkah, and 999 in all other locations of the Kingdom.
