Saudi Arabia to receive Hajj pilgrims from 6 Airports, Over 2 Million people to attend this Year's Hajj

A total of six airports, King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Airport in Madina, Taif International Airport in Taif, King Khaled International Airport in Riyadh, Prince Abdulmohsen International Airport in Yanbu, and King Fahd International Airport in Dammam in the west will serve as major entry points for Hajj pilgrims in the year 2024.
- According to Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), 7,700 planes with 3.4 million seats on it will be available during the Hajj season in 2024.
- In order to ease the pilgrims travel procedures across the airports of the kingdom, the company has implemented the "passenger without a bag" service.

- Allocating 150 planes with over 1.2 million seats, the national airline of Saudi Arabia, has announced that it is prepared to welcome pilgrims from all around the globe during the Hajj season.
- It is expected that around 2 million Muslims from all over the world would participate in the forthcoming Hajj.
- Agency in charge of Hajj preparations in Saudi Arabia is expecting record numbers of pilgrims following the Umrah, a smaller pilgrimage, that approximately 30 million Muslims from within and outside the kingdom performed at Makkah's Grand Mosque during the Islamic holy month of Ramadan, which concluded on April 9.
