RCRC announces the construction of King Abdulaziz Park in Riyadh
Work on King Abdulaziz Park, one of Riyadh's major parks as part of the "Green Riyadh" projects, has begun, according to the Royal Commission for Riyadh City (RCRC). Trending : Within 6 months, Saudi Arabia attracts 60 Million visitors
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Saudi Arabia's King Salman approved the name of the park as "King Abdulaziz Park", on the recommendation of the Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
- In all, the project will take 36 months to complete and cover an area of around 4.3 million square meters. Important landmarks including Princess Noura University and King Khalid International Airport are in close proximity to the property. Thanks to its accessibility to the train station, the park is easily accessible from anywhere in the city.

- An expansive road spanning more than 2 kilometers provides a breathtaking view of the botanical garden, and a thousand square meters of it is devoted to commercial buildings with eco-friendly designs that mirror their surroundings. Gardeners may improve biodiversity and create an attractive setting for birds, butterflies, and other wildlife by selecting different trees and plants for the five major design patterns: highlands, plains, plateaus, and desert gardens.

- The park's 30 sports fields and 24 playgrounds for kids will help bring in both locals and visitors. The utilization of the Munsiyah further helps to reduce temperatures and increases the average daily walking step count to over 6,000 along woodland trails that are ideal for pedestrians, as well as for practicing running and cycling, these paths span more than 115 kilometers.
- Planting 10 billion trees inside the Kingdom to improve air quality by lowering pollution and dust is one of the aims of Saudi Vision 2030 and the Saudi Green Initiative, to which the "Green Riyadh" project contributes.
