Steps to request an Extension of deadline for paying Traffic violations
The General Traffic Department (Moroor) in Saudi Arabia revealed the steps for requesting an extension of the deadline for paying traffic violations according to Article (75) of the Traffic Law, according to the period stipulated by the system at a rate of (25%). The service can be done easily and conveniently through the Absher platform without visiting the Traffic headquarters. The extension shall only apply to violations stipulated in Article (75) of the Traffic Law and shall not include accumulated violations committed before 18th April 2024 at a rate of 25 percent.
- The Saudi Traffic Department explained the steps for requesting an extension of the deadline for paying traffic violations through its official account on the “X” platform in the following points.
- Steps to implement the service of requesting an additional period of 90 days for payment, after the expiration of the objection period 30 days, before the expiry of the legally prescribed payment period of 15 days, as per the Article (75) of the Traffic Law.
1. Login to the Absher Individuals platform.
2. Select my services and then Traffic. See Also : Procedure to get Employment, experience or salary certificate from Qiwa platform
3. Select to extend the deadline for paying traffic violations.
4. Click on start service.
5. Review of violations that can be extended.
6. Select the required violation.
7. Review the details of the selected violation.
8. Select to extend the payment deadline.
9. Confirmation of payment deadline extension. Read : Over 9 Million contracts documented in Qiwa platform
Terms and Conditions of Traffic Violation Payment Extension Service :
* Having a digital identity verified on the Absher platform.
* The violation must have exceeded the period for objection. On the violation (30) days from the date of recording the violation.
* A request to extend the payment deadline must be submitted within a maximum period of 15 days from the date of expiry of the period for objecting to the violation. Recommend : Al-Khobar named as a Healthy City by World Health Organization
