To operate a motor vehicle legally, one must meet certain age, identification, and licensing requirements, including being at least 25 years old, holding a valid driver's license, and providing proof of a clean criminal record.

Additionally, drivers are required to complete and pass the following exams and training programs as set out by the TGA, a medical examination administered by the authority, a professional proficiency test, and an approved first aid course.

In order to guarantee the safety of the educational personnel and students and the provision of efficient and high-quality transportation services, the authorities further stressed that they must exclusively use legitimate transportation providers.

All licensed transport operators are required by the authority to use all necessary safety equipment and tools when transporting students. This includes both larger buses with more than 15 seats and smaller buses with less than 15, as well as vans with no more than 9 seats. Read : Saudi Engineering Council arrests a person

All of the necessary safety equipment is on board, including tracking devices that are connected to the Wasl platform, cameras inside the bus, a reflective school bus sign board on both sides and the back, and other equipment that helps make sure the beneficiaries are safe on the trip.

Educational transportation buses are the focus of the authority's efforts to increase the frequency and depth of inspection tours. This is to make sure that the carriers follow all of the rules and regulations that have been established.

One can reach the authority through beneficiary care platforms, like the unified number 19929, for questions, complaints, or to report carriers for violating this important regulation, or you can visit the official website of the authority at tga.gov.sa.
