Riyadh Airport sets Passenger traffic record, with 130,000 passengers in a Single day

On Thursday, the Riyadh Airports Company (RAC), which manages and operates the KKIA, released a press statement announcing that the airport had 3.5 million passengers in July 2024, an increase of 400,000 passengers over the previous record of 3.1 million passengers recorded in June 2024.

The airport reportedly had 130,000 passengers on Thursday, August 1, 2024, breaking the previous records of 125,000 on July 25 and 124,000 on June 13, according to the press announcement. A 91% seat occupancy rate in July was evidence of the airport's excellent operational efficiency.
