SAUDI EXPATRIATES

The situation in southern Lebanon is being closely watched by the Saudi embassy. It highlighted once again that all Saudi citizens must not travel to Lebanon in violation of the travel prohibition.

Countries in the West and the Arab world have stepped up their demands for their citizens to evacuate Lebanon in the wake of growing concerns about a potential full-scale conflict between Iran, Hezbollah, and Israel. Flight cancellations have been issued by several airlines.

For their own protection, Jordanian citizens are being requested by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs not to travel to Lebanon at this time. Those already in Lebanon are asked to leave immediately.

A similar message went out from the US Embassy in Lebanon, encouraging American citizens who want to leave the country to book "any available ticket" and to get in touch with the embassy if they don't have enough money to return. Saudi Expatriates is now also available on Telegram

The United Kingdom, Italy, France, Canada, Jordan, and a number of other nations have all issued calls for their citizens to evacuate Lebanon.

- In the meanwhile, Turkey has revised its travel recommendation for Lebanon, urging anyone who doesn't have to stay to depart the country because commercial flights are still operating. The advisory also cautions travelers to exercise caution and avoid visiting Nabatiyeh, South Lebanon, Bekaa, and Baalbek-Hermel regions unless absolutely essential.

Flights to and from Lebanon have already been canceled or diverted by several airlines, including Air France, Lufthansa, Aegean, Emirates, Qatar Airways, and Kuwaiti Airlines. Read : Final exit visa after Iqama expiry
