MOC seized a company for naming perfumes on Saudi and Gulf Legal figures


The Ministry of Commerce (MOC) in Saudi Arabia announced the seizure of a commercial establishment in the sector of perfumes due to the use of certain names that are prohibited. Trending : Flyadeal, Flynas and Saudia offers on 94th Saudi National Day



This company is in breach of both regulations and instructions because it is advertising fragrances with names that are attributed to legal people in the Kingdom and the Gulf, and it is spreading this information by selling these perfumes in its commercial facilities as well as on social media platforms.

Following the completion of the procedures to impose the legal penalties on the facility and the advertiser for breaking the regulations, instructions, and controls of electronic advertising in the e-commerce law, the Ministry explained that the facility was seized, the site of the violation was removed, and the procedures were completed.

Additionally, the Ministry refers the establishment and advertiser that violates the law to the Committee for Reviewing Violations of the E-Commerce law.
