Saudi Arabia fines 3 Airlines for Health violations in Madinah
The Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia fined 3 airlines for failing to comply with health monitoring standards upon arrival at Madinah's Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport from three different countries. The ministry is responsible for addressing health risks in order to ensure public safety, according to a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency.
The penalties were issued in accordance with the general provisions of the executive regulations of the Health Surveillance Law at Entry Points.

As they failed to spray their planes with pesticides as directed, the airlines broke disease vector management protocols in affected areas. This is against the health protocols laid out in the Health Surveillance Law at Entry Points executive rules.
To prevent future breaches that could put the public's health at risk, these companies have been penalized.
The ministry stated that these steps are a component of its continuing supervision efforts to increase health monitoring at border crossings and airports, protect public health by rigorously implementing rules, and guarantee the well-being of inhabitants, expats, and tourists in the Kingdom.
