Saudi Arabia introduces World's first free Seasonal flu vaccinations service at Home

Users may request the free home vaccination service via the Sanar application, which allows them to arrange a visit at their preferable location and time.
The service is designed to enhance the accessibility of vaccines for all Saudi citizens and resident expatriates, with a special focus on people who are at risk, including infants, elderly people, women who are pregnant, individuals with chronic diseases, and healthcare workers.
The program's objective is to safeguard against the influenza virus that is common in the community and to prevent the disease from spreading due to the influx of pilgrims.
The Ministry of Health aims to guarantee that a greater number of individuals can safeguard themselves against seasonal influenza without the necessity of visiting a healthcare facility by delivering the vaccine directly to the residences of residents.
