The service is designed to enhance the accessibility of vaccines for all Saudi citizens and resident expatriates, with a special focus on people who are at risk, including infants, elderly people, women who are pregnant, individuals with chronic diseases, and healthcare workers.
The program's objective is to safeguard against the influenza virus that is common in the community and to prevent the disease from spreading due to the influx of pilgrims.
The Ministry of Health aims to guarantee that a greater number of individuals can safeguard themselves against seasonal influenza without the necessity of visiting a healthcare facility by delivering the vaccine directly to the residences of residents.
