A Saudi woman and an expat (Arab national) were among those involved, and they advertised it on several social media platforms. The responsibility of prosecuting legal action against the accused has been handed to the Public Prosecution.

The woman's social media posts falsely claimed to be treating infertility, glands, and clots, as well as using traditional medicines and mixes, according to the ministry.

She had not obtained the necessary licenses to practice these fields. According to the ministry, the Arab national falsely advertised himself on social media as a specialist in the treatment of speech and learning disorders, despite not possessing the necessary license to do so. The government authority warned the public to stay away from doubtful online health care providers and to seek treatment only from authorized medical centers.

In a statement, the ministry cautioned against the unlicensed promotion of "such unauthorized treatments, practices or mixtures" in the media and social media, stating that such actions could pose risks to citizens health and safety.

The ministry warned that anyone who violate the rules will face sanctions. This is all part of the Ministry of Health's plan to crack down on dangerous behavior on social media. In order to protect the public's health and guarantee the safety of patients, the ministry is conducting both manual and automated inspections. Join Saudi Expatriates channel on imo
