Anyone found guilty of abusive behavior in workplaces, schools, or places of worship can face fines of up to 300,000 Saudi riyals or imprisonment for up to five years, according to a statement released by the Saudi Public Prosecution on its official account of X platform.



The Public Prosecution highlighted the importance of executing the Protection from Abuse Law by stressing that any harmful conduct in these situations are criminal offenses.

There will be greater efforts to safeguard individuals from violence and abuse, but the statement underlined the nation's commitment to making sure everyone is safe and secure.
