King Salman orders to host 1000 Umrah pilgrims from 66 nations
The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Saudi Arabia's King Salman has ordered to host One thousand (1,000) Umrah pilgrims from 66 countries. Trending : Pilgrims can now visit Hateem of Kaaba at specific timings for men and women
Under the supervision of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, these pilgrims will be welcomed in 4 groups by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques in the Year 1446 AH as part of the Guests Program for Hajj, Umrah, and Visit.
Sheikh Abdullatif Al-Sheikh, Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, and General Supervisor of the Program, expressed gratitude to King Salman and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman for their attentive and generous care in making it possible for Muslims from around the world to practice their religious rituals comfortably and at their own expense.
"This hosting comes as an extension of the great care provided by the wise leadership for everything that serves Islam and Muslims, as well as strengthens the bonds of unity among Muslims in different parts of the world, and develops fruitful communication with the Islamic elites, scholars, sheikhs, and influential figures in the world who are hosted under the program," he added. With over 140 countries having received benefits from the initiative from the start up to this year, the minister made note of the program's global reach. "Excellent services have been provided to these guests in accordance with a coordinated approach from the time they leave their countries until their safe return after completion of the rituals," said the Minister.
According to Al-Sheikh, the ministry has spared no effort in carrying out the royal order so that the pilgrims can tour sacred sites in Madinah and Makkah, as well as meet with religious leaders from the two holy mosques and perform the Umrah. Follow Saudi Expatriates on Google News
