Fahd bin Hathleen, Chairman of the Camel Club, unveiled the trophy, highlighting its material and symbolic significance. "In addition to the private jet, the winner will have the honor of meeting the event's patron, which enhances this unique recognition," he stated.

The organization of these events has been transformed by the largest internet platform dedicated to camel contests, "Raei Al Nathar," which will be in charge of the competition. The platform captures the deep cultural significance of camels in Saudi Arabia by combining modern technology with traditional elements.

According to Bin Hathleen, the Camel Club is stepping up their efforts to make this historical legacy more visible on a national and regional level through culture. Read : A new era in urban transportation—Riyadh Metro

Raei Al Nathar has brought cutting-edge digital innovations to the legendary Al Shadad camel race, making it the apex of camel competitions. Coming at the end of the Year of the Camel in 2024, this event is sure to get camel herds all around the Arabian Peninsula excited about competing again.

The public had a pivotal role in participant selection for the first time; camel fans used the platform to nominate the most popular herds. "The audience is the cornerstone of this competition, ensuring it reflects the diverse heritage of the Arabian Peninsula," Bin Hathleen stated, announcing the reintroduction on social media platform X.

Al Shadad became an emblem of cultural pride and greatness after its debut at the 6th King Abdulaziz Camel Festival in 2021. Its inaugural winner, Dabbous Mubarak Al Dabbous, established a new standard for excellence in camel races. Abdulmohsen Al Rajhi's herd, Al Rajihat, emerged as the 2022 winner.
