Riyadh Metro to start its partial services from Wednesday
The Riyadh Metro, the longest driverless metro system in the world, is preparing for its partially formal inauguration on Wednesday, November 27 in Saudi Arabia's capital Riyadh, as reported by Al Eqtisadiah daily. According to the report, three lines will be operational during the first phase, with the other three lines set to launch around in the middle of December.

Twenty percent of the power needed by essential electrical systems will be supplied by solar panels put up at stations and depots, according to Al Eqtisadiah.
