With a rate of 1.12 per 100,000 workers, Saudi Arabia is among the countries with the lowest rates of work-related death internationally, according to a statement released on Friday by the council.
On its official website, the International Labor Organization (ILO) praised Saudi Arabia for its outstanding development in occupational safety and health, highlighting this progress as well.
The British Safety Council and the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management are among the respectable groups that have confirmed these results.
The council stressed that the welfare and security of workers are important under Saudi laws. Development projects in Saudi Arabia include a priority on human welfare through initiatives such as the National Strategic Program for Occupational Safety and Health, which is part of the Saudi Vision 2030 framework. This initiative, which began in the year 2017, is an attempt to improve laws, regulations, and standards related to workplace safety. In order to ensure trustworthy reporting, the council stressed the importance of media outlets and the general public using verified sources. Like and Follow Saudi Expatriates on Facebook
