The number of trips taken by passenger transport applications in different cities and regions around the Kingdom exceeded 51.8 million during the same period, according to a report provided by the Transport General Authority (TGA).
There was a 41% increase from the previous quarter to the third quarter of this year, and a 12% increase from the beginning of the year to the same period last year for the overall number of trips. The trips are offered by 46 different apps that have obtained the necessary licenses to transport passengers in the Kingdom.
With 39% of all travels, the Riyadh region was the most popular metropolitan area in Saudi Arabia. The next most popular location, Makkah, came in at 25%, and the Eastern Province came in at 16%. Most Viewed : 4000 riyals fine for smart cab drivers for canceling accepted trips
Because of the convenience and quick response that applications offer, the demand for transportation services is on the rise, and this growth is proof of that. Passenger transport applications play a significant role in the Kingdom's modern transportation network, offering a convenient and secure way to travel that helps reduce traffic and shorten travel times.
Within this framework, the TGA extended an invitation to all young Saudi men and women who are prepared to work full-time to apply for the opportunities in passenger transport services and gain financial support from the Human Resources Development Fund (HADAF). Their time should be allocated in line with the flexible work policy, which is the primary feature of these applications, according to it. Subscribe to Saudi Expatriates on YouTube
