As part of its preparations for the Hajj 2025 (1446) season, the Egyptian Travel Agents Associations officially selected Saudi companies to manage the services for Egyptian pilgrims. Join Saudi Expatriates channel on WhatsApp
This is the first occurrence of such a procedure in Egypt's Hajj tourist history.
The Egyptian government had previously published a tender to choose a Saudi tourist firm to manage the Hajj services for Egyptian citizens, including specific financial and technical requirements.
To address difficulties from past Hajj seasons and to provide pilgrims with the greatest quality of care, these guidelines were developed to assure a successful Hajj pilgrimage.
The Hajj services of twenty-two well-known Saudi enterprises were approached. Thirteen businesses submitted financial and technical proposals to the chamber in sealed envelopes. The chamber's strict technical and financial standards led to the disqualification of seven companies following a thorough evaluation of all submissions. There were a total of five companies that were considered after all the criteria were considered. The chamber met with these companies' representatives for two weeks to go over all the technical and financial details, making sure they followed the rules.
Two Saudi organizations, Al Rajhi Services for Pilgrims and Mashariq Al Masiyah Services, were selected to provide services to Egyptian pilgrims this season, marking a first in the history of Hajj tourism.
This year's Hajj pilgrims will have access to first-rate services thanks to the agreed contracts.
