Saudi Arabia is issuing 4000 to 6000 work visas daily for Bangladeshi workers


Saudi Arabia is now issuing between 4,000 and 6,000 work visas for Bangladeshis every day, and that this rate is expected to continue in the days ahead, according to Abdulaziz Fahad M. The Kingdom hired 83,000 people from Bangladesh last month, more than any other country in the world. This increase in the demand for workers is a direct result of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 plan, which calls for the country to speed up its ambitious development initiatives.

As part of its preparations for a number of major events, the Kingdom is undertaking massive infrastructure projects in the fields of aviation, railways, and sports stadiums, including the 2030 Riyadh Expo and the 2034 FIFA World Cup. A diverse labor force is more important than ever before to maintain the country's fast expansion, which has been prompted by these programs.

Saudi Arabia recently gave 372 metric tons of meat to Bangladesh as a humanitarian gesture. A representative from the Bangladeshi Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that the meat will be shared among religious schools, orphans, and the needy in 64 districts spanning 95 regions. Saudi Arabia's "Saudi Project for Utilization of Hajj Meat" has delivered forty thousand sacrifices to worthy recipients in Bangladesh this year, according to the embassy.

Working along with local authorities and the Saudi Embassy in Dhaka, this initiative made sure that the meat got to low-income families all around the country, which helped build community and provided assistance to those who needed it.

There are three million Bangladeshi workers in Saudi Arabia, making it the top destination for South Asian migration.

The trip was originally supposed to happen this year, but it was postponed, as you may know. The official noted that any updates on this will be announced later.

After reviewing the terms of the agreement between Patenga Terminal and Saudi company The Red Sea Gateway Terminal International (RSGTI), the official from Bangladesh stated, "We have witnessed very responsive support from the government of Bangladesh, and we are hopefully looking forward to working together on this project."
