Honorable Governor of Medina Region Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, along with Director of the Medina branch of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority Dr. Ahmed bin Ali Al Zahrani and other senior officials of the organization, formally launched the program.

The new program ensures that medical professionals respond faster to emergencies by dividing Medina into geographical areas according to what is expected. Particularly in densely populated or heavily trafficked regions, this will improve the effectiveness of emergency services.

As an additional sign of the new model's success in managing the rising demand for emergency medical services, Dr. Al Zahrani highlighted that the branch had surpassed its response time targets for 2024 by 11%.

Motorbikes, engineered for easier traffic movements, are also an important part of the service concept. Motorcycles can get to patients faster than ambulances, but ambulances are still the best option. In order to give quick care and to arrange further support when needed, the persons operating the motorcycles are all highly qualified medical professionals. They are equipped with advanced medical tools. Join Saudi Expatriates news channel on Facebook
