Companies with 50 or more workers have the responsibility to report their training data every year through the Qiwa platform, according to the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) in Saudi Arabia. Most Viewed: Amazon to expand cloud computing and AI in KSA

According to the ministry, the aim of the decision is to improve the training programs in private sector companies so that their employees may be more effective and efficient and so that these companies can continue to provide chances for growth and development.

Ministry officials have said that this decision is part of a larger effort to improve workforce performance and productivity, as well as to achieve the goals of a national program to encourage private sector training and provide workers with relevant skills. The decision states that businesses with 50 or more employees as of the end of the current year are required to disclose training information, including the total number of training hours and related data, as well as the total number of trainees from various backgrounds (e.g., workers, students, graduates, and job seekers). This training must last at least 8 units per trainee per year.

As a result of this decision, the Ministry will work with the private sector to create incentives and policies that will improve the effectiveness and quality of worker training programs; this, in turn, will help achieve an accurate analytical reading of training indicators in the labor market.
