Labor courts resolved 130,000 cases last year, 21% more than last year


More than 130,000 verdicts were handed out by labor courts in Saudi Arabia in 2024, according to the Ministry of Justice. This is a 21% increase from the last year, 2023. Trending: Saudi Arabia implements Professional Accreditation service for workers of 160 countries



In the past year, a grand total of 290,000 court sessions were conducted.

The average duration of a labor case, from the date of filing it until it is closed, is just 20 days.

The ministry stated that labor courts helped bring this duration down to this low mark. It went on to say that two sessions was the typical amount of time spent on closed cases. Most Viewed: KSA tightens rules for work visa of Indian labors

The ministry highlighted that the courts' performance has improved, and case resolution times have decreased as a result of central departmental efforts, including the Case Preparation Center and the Case Audit Center, as well as the strengthening of the institutionalization idea.
