The Saudi Standard Classification of Occupations and the Saudi Unified Classification of Educational Levels and Specializations are two examples of well-established standards that are used to accomplish this. The ministry's Professional Verification implementation plan includes 1,007 professions and aims to cover all countries that export labor as part of the effort.

Jobs in engineering and healthcare, which fall under groupings 1-3 of the Saudi Unified Classification of Professions, are the primary emphasis of the initiative, which works in tandem with the appropriate government entities to achieve this goal.
