To issue Final exit visa, at least 30-days iqama validity required

The General Directorate of Passports (Jawazat) in Saudi Arabia highlighted that the residency permit (Iqama) of an expatriate worker has to have a minimum validity period of thirty days in order to issue a final exit visa. Trending: Now Iqama can be renewed even if the expat worker or dependent is outside of Saudi Arabia

If the validity of the worker's Iqama is less than thirty days, the Jawazat advised the head of the family and the employer to renew the Iqama before approaching the Jawazat for issuing a final exit visa.

The Saudi jawazat said that the final exit visa can be provided, and the visa's term would be the remaining validity period of the Iqama if the validity of the expatriate's Iqama is more than thirty days and less than 60 days. It means the duration of final exit visa will match the remaining validity of the resident’s iqama

If the Iqama's validity is 60 days or more, the final exit visa will be issued with a limited 60-day period only. Most Viewed: Driving with expired Istimara is now a traffic violation in Saudi Arabia
